This week at Airline Elementary has been filled with productive activities and valuable connections. We were delighted to host "Coffee with the Principal," where we gathered insightful feedback that will continue to guide our work and strengthen our school community. Your engagement and contributions are truly appreciated.

On Thursday, we conducted STAAR practice for 3rd and 4th grade reading, and we will be holding STAAR practice for math on the upcoming Thursday. Your support is crucial for these important practice sessions, so we encourage you to ensure your child attends and arrives early on Tuesday for preparation.

We are also excited to share that our new nurse and STEM teacher will be joining us starting Monday. We look forward to welcoming them and enhancing the resources available to support your child’s health and education.

Please remember that there will be no school on November 15th as our staff will be participating in professional development activities.

Lastly, don’t forget to sign up for our Parent Picnics! These gatherings are a wonderful way to connect and celebrate our shared commitment to a vibrant school community.

Parent Picnics

Dear Families, we are excited to announce our Parent Picnic on Friday, November 22! This is a wonderful opportunity for you to join your Spark for lunch. If you have more than one Airline Spark attending, please make sure to include both names on the sign-up form. The deadline to sign up is Friday, November 15, keep in mind that only 2 adults per family can attend. Parent Picnic Passes will be sent home on Tuesday, November 19. Important Dismissal Reminders

-If student is a walker and parent/guardian comes to pick up in a car, they need to go through the car rider line with a car pick up tag.

-Any transportation changes should be communicated by 12PM.

School uniforms

-Orders up to September have been fulfilled. We are currently working on October orders. If you placed an order over 2 weeks ago and have not received it, please feel free to reach out to our receptionist, Laisha, through a call or email at laisha.mendez@yesprep.org
