Dear Airline Families,

As we wrap up another great week at YES Prep Airline Elementary, we want to thank you for your continued support and partnership.

This week, we had the opportunity to connect during our Family Association meeting, where we introduced our new Family Association Representative, Ms. Elvalisa Henderson. We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to working together to strengthen our school community.

As we prepare for the upcoming Winter festivities, we want to remind everyone that attendance is still very important! Consistent attendance ensures that students stay engaged and continue to thrive academically.

• The Winter Program/Celebration will take place on Thursday, December 19, 2024 (5:00-7:00 p.m.)​

 - Pictures with Santa ($3 per picture)​

Victor Mata

I’m excited to introduce myself as your new Director of Operations. My name is Victor Mata, and I’m thrilled to be joining the team. I bring over 8 years of experience in various management and operational roles and I am a Yes Prep Alumni! I look forward to collaborating with all of you and working together to achieve excellence. Over the Counter Medications

Parents and guardians of YES PREP AIRLINE,

The Texas Board of Nursing has implemented a new policy that will require physician, podiatrist, or dentist authorization along with parent authorization for all over the counter medications being administered by a licensed nursing staff. Effective immediately YES PREP AIRLINE ELEMENTARY will no longer be accepting over the counter medications without the appropriate paperwork from both the physician and parents. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

La junta de enfermería de Texas (Texas Board of Nursing) implemento una nueva póliza que establece que los medicamentos de venta libre (OTC) ya no pueden ser administrados por personal de enfermería titulado sin la autorización de un médico, podólogo o dentista y la autorización de los padres en el expediente. Efectivó de inmediato, YES PREP AIRLINE ELEMENTARY ya no aceptara medicamentos de venta libre (OTC) sin el papeleo adecuado departe del médico y padres del estudiante. Gracias por su entendimiento y cooperación.

Transportation Change Requests 

Parents, please make all changes in person at the front office before 12 p.m. 

Changes made after 12 p.m. will not go into effect until the following school day.  

 

Morning Arrival 

School doors open at 7 a.m. Teacher & staff will be ready to welcome and safely receive students starting at 7 a.m.

 

Afternoon Dismissal 

Car rider pick-up will end at 3:40 p.m. After 3:40 p.m., all remaining students will be moved to the front of the campus and must be picked up at the front entrance.

 

All Aspire Students must be picked up at the front entrance by 4 p.m. If your child needs to be picked up before 4 p.m., please check them out at the front office.

 

Attendance 

Regular attendance is important for your child’s success! Please notify us if your child will be absent, and remember, every school day counts! GO SPARKS!
