Dear YES Prep Airline Families,

This has been a busy and exciting week at YES Prep Airline! We want to thank everyone who participated in our Black History Program—it was a wonderful celebration of culture and history.

Our 3rd and 4th grade students also completed their Common Assessment, a valuable practice for the upcoming STAAR test. We are proud of their hard work and dedication.

As we approach Spring Break next week, please keep these important dates in mind:

• Tutorials continue next week – Please ensure your child attends if they are enrolled.
• Mandatory 3rd & 4th Grade Meeting – March 5 at 4 PM – This is an important session for families.
• Parent-Teacher Conferences – March 24 – Don’t forget to sign up to meet with your child’s teacher.

Mardi Gras Book Float Parade

Dear Parents,

Mardi Gras is just around the corner, and we're excited
to invite you to join second annual Mardi Gras Parade
at Airline! Please arrive between 7:50- 8:00 a.m. The gates
will close promptly at 8 a.m. Park in any available spot
using the front or back parking lot. If parking is
unavailable please park across the street at the back of
Taqueria arandas. The parade route will travel around
the campus so everyone will be able to be a spectator.

 

The Mardi Gras parade is known for its grand floats,
throws, and colors of purple, green, and gold, if you
can dress in Mardi Gras colors please do so.

Tuesday March 4th 8 AM

 

Also, if you are able donate candy and beads to throw
to the crowd please do so by

Monday, February 24th.
