Last week we celebrated students that met their Middle of Year goals in Reading or Math. We want to congratulate those families that met their goals. This week students will receive a special surprise to recognize their hard work. I want also to acknowledge the parents. Students demonstrate the highest level of achievement when the school and family partner together to move students in the right direction. Next week, the staff will engage in a data dive to analyze data and create a plan to ensure 100% of SPARKS meet their goals by the End of the Year. With this being said, we noticed SPARKS with the strongest attendance, those that arrive on time and remain for the entire day demonstrated more growth than their peers. Please ensure your SPARK is at school every day. On Friday, we will have Parent-Teacher Conferences specifically for SPARKS which need an extra push to be successful this year. If you are invited, the conference is mandatory. Please make arrangements to attend in person or virtually.

Reminders:

• Office is closed from 2:30 to 3:30 pm
• Students must arrive to school by 7:25 am
• Dismissal starts at 3:00 pm. Late pick up at the front office after 3:25 pm

 

Student Jackets

Sparks families, we have a cloth rack of jackets and clothing left by students in classrooms and playgrounds at the Front Office entrance. If your student has lost a piece a clothing, you can come to see and check if we have it in the rack.
